We had Christian to our home for my husband's surprise 50th birthday celebration. He served a beautiful 5 course meal and helped us select wines to accompany each course. Each generously portioned dish was a work of art, a combination of amazing flavours that made the dish sing and accompanied by a story about the culture or the ingredients or about Christian himself. The night was effortless and at the end we could relax and marvel about the unique experience. Thank you, Christian. We look forward to having you out again.

Christian delivered an amazing experience for my team! We had a work celebration at my place, and after booking a chef, Christian showed up an hour before the dinner time, set everything up and then delivered the best Italian meals we’ve had so far.I love the way he was able to do it all and then keep everything so seamless/organised. I would give 10 stars if I could! This is the second evert we have had Christ and his team cater and he continues to impress and wow with his culinary skills and impressive service. Chirs cooked canapes (we selected 9 from a list of 22 options) and each and every one was cooked fresh in our kitchen, plated and served by the amazing Mo and Victoria. Delicious seafood, wagyu beef, lamb, vegetarian and a specially created kids menu. The team brought everything they needed to prep, cook and serve and clean our kitchen to an amazing standard when completed. I would highly recommend At The Italian Table and cant wait to have the team back again soon.

We had used Christian's services to cater for our baby's 1st birthday party. We had given a lot of thought about how we want to organise the party and catering was one of the important aspect that we were not able to get our head around - most of venues were catering for upwards of 40 guests (we had a guest list of <30); not all the venues were spacious and hardly any had a baby room - this was important for us as there were quit a lot of families that had babies <2yrs of age. We even considered hosting the party in farms and cottages and none were coming in our budget (

Note of appreciation!!!A big shoutout to Christian and his Team "At the Italian Table" Catering!Last week we held a cultural exchange event and welcomed the Italian Chef Paolo to conduct a cooking workshop for 20 participants. He was showcasing Sicilian Cannoli and Panna cotta. Both the delights came out very nice and the taste was just breathtaking. I want to thank Christian for doing his best to help us to make this event possible. I was struggling to find an Italian Chef who could cater for that many participants. Christian was very prompt in communication, demonstrated detailed approach to my inquiry and organised everything smooth and professional which was indeed helpful. During the workshop Paolo was not only showing tricky details about the sweets but also engaging with the participants by answering all their questions. They all enjoyed the workshop and learnt a lot about the authentic Italian delights. We had the best experience having "At the Italian Table Catering" and trusting them our event. We highly recommend considering them for your upcoming events and wishing Christian and the Team all the very best .Keep up the great job guys!!!

We have used Christian a few times now to cater for our events at The Italian Cultural Institute and we cannot recommend him enough! The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. We always receive amazing feedback and compliments on the food! Christian is very professional and able to tailor the menu for every occasion. He can also provide a full package and look after your hiring needs (tables, chairs, glasses and everything you may need), which almost impossible to find!

Christian catered our wedding of 114 ppl, and cannot recommend him more highly, the food was so delicious, from the menu design to cater towards our taste, to the serving on the night of the most delicious vegetarian lasagne I’ve ever had and amazing prawn fusilli & sides - plus so many people commented on how delish the food was. On top of being a talented chef, Christian was so easy to communicate with & to deal with - organising a wedding can be stressful and he was happy to help with any requests we had and really went above and beyond. WOW - cannot recommend Chef Christian from At The Italian Table highly enough. I hired Chef Christian to cook a dinner for my partner's 30th birthday at our home and we could not have been happier with the experience. From the choices we were able to make with the menu, to the perfect quality of the food, to the friendly service provided by Chef Christian - every single thing exceeded expectations. Each of the 5 courses was divine, but a personal favourite was the risotto - unbelievably good. All of this for a very reasonable price. I can't wait to find another excuse to use At The Italian Table again!

I engaged Christian to create a 5-course dinner post proposal at my house. My partner has quite a strict diet and there are lot of things she is unable to eat for various health reasons. Due to this we do not often go out to restaurants as there’s not a lot she can order off the menu so bringing the restaurant home felt like a great idea.Christian put together an amazing experience, with care and consideration to my fiancé’s allergies. It was the first time she was able to enjoy and amazing restaurant experience, eat every dish and for the first time in ages devour a dessert.Christian’s calm and gentle demeanour and friendly style creates a relaxing atmosphere and his food is simply amazing and well crafted. Each dish was beautifully balanced, looks like a work of art and tasted divine.We will be a repeat “at the Italian table” customer, and I’m already looking forward to the next experience.

Christian catered for a private dinner in Oxford for a group of 8. During the whole process he was extremely accomodating working with us to design a menu which included diners with food intolerances. On the day Christian was perfect. He explained each dish as he served them and the food was divine! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend again

Nice Italian restaurant which serves tasty food sections.I have tried the fried Gnocchi and it is still crunchy even after the delivery.The staff at this restaurant is very attentive even to the order notes to separate the meal to maintain its taste.Utensils provided by the takeaway service is also earth-friendly.This restaurant doesn't jack up the price even when using the UberEats delivery. Therefore it is worthwhile to visit and dine in to experience the atmosphere of the Italian table.

After having multiple proposal plans either cancelled or postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19, I reached out to Christian to request his assistance in helping me create a surprise iso-engagement at home. On the night, once we got the formalities out of the way (she said 'yes'!), I then brought my new fiance inside to meet Christian - who was good enough to play along and hide inside our bedroom waiting to be unveiled. Shortly after, Christian served us a five-course land and sea menu specifically tailored ahead of time to my partner's favourite tastes. The lamb rump was arguably the best I have ever consumed and my fiance continues to include the slow-cooked lamb shank ragu in her retelling of our engagement story. In summary, Christian's professionalism created the theater of us eating at a high-end restaurant, yet in the comfort of our own home. Upon his farewell, we later noticed that Christian left our kitchen cleaner than it has ever been. Highly recommended.

I organised a gift for my parents to enjoy a private dining experience and they had nothing but positive things to say about the “personable” Christian. He was thoughtful and accommodating with excellent communication right from the start. My parents had an incredible experience and have since recommended Christian to all their friends. Everything about the five-course menu was first class and Christian went above & beyond to cater for my parents (altering the menu multiple times via email) – ensuring they would be looked after every step of the way. My parents boasted of Christian’s passion, serving the most satisfying Italian inspired dishes made from high quality ingredients. They were wow-ed by his attention to detail. Christian was not only great with correspondence throughout (from sending run-sheets and sharing facts about the meals my parents were being served), his meticulous eye for detail made it smooth sailing from the get-go. They found Christian’s dishes to be sophisticated but approachable – and definitely fulfilling. In our experience, Christian was punctual, professional, clean, efficient and most importantly - his food was outstanding. Christian knows how to execute a flawless dining experience and anyone would be lucky to have Christian cook for them!

2 weeks ago my wife and I hosted a special party at our new home which took about 1 year to be built and I can not stop thanking Cristian the Chef & Owner of “At The Italian Table” as it has been an absolute success.We wanted to share our happiness with our relatives & close friends after about 5 months we moved in and got everything sorted. We wanted someone that was not only able to deliver a great culinary night but also someone very reliable and showing care for our new house & kitchen as we are very particular in terms of house keeping and having the kitchen clean all the times and I must say the decision to go with Cristian after reaching out to a few catering companies it really paid off.Cristian first of all was able to meet with us twice in order to discuss our budget and accomodate his menus to our guests’ needs. We had 38 guests coming over for dinner, some of them are vegan and wheat intolerant and also several kids joining the party so thank you to make all our guests happy and comfortable with your Meals.The service was perfectly coordinated and our guests taken to a trip from North to South of Italy, everyone is still taking about it. I spent 28 years of my life in Tuscany and for so many years I had the pleasure to enjoy the wild boar dishes in the Maremma region...Well, the tagliatelle with wild boar ragù that Cristian prepared for us just took me straight back home in terms of flavours, absolutely amazing!Cristian is a very well organised & experienced Chef, he cares for his clients by only selecting premium ingredients and we are happy to recommend him to anyone keen to have an unforgettable experience for any occasion.I can also say Cristian is very reliable and, considering the ingredients he’s working with, also a very honest person.Thanks Cristian, we will definitely keep you in mind for our 20th wedding anniversary in a few years,The Barbieri’s
